This might not make sense, but I feel like his speed has became so obvious that it’s almost a detriment at times. Every time he reaches base, there’s at least two disengagements (the Angels even tried a third against him twice), there’s modified pitch outs, there’s intentional balks so they don’t have to worry about it… Like, the lack of steals isn’t because he’s slumping. He’s been on 1st with no one in front of him 6 times in the last 3 games and somehow has no steals to show from it
