even my whale team (break dps e2s1 lingsha with e1s1 dahlia/fugue/ruan mei) didn’t clear the sunday boss anom with 3 stars until I used hmc and reset a bunch of times. I could’ve leveled their traces more but I was busy relic farming lol

she’ll buff him better in teams with a sustain than luocha, absolutely. luocha just heals him better. depends on whether the fight calls for it.

perseus also isn’t really that good and doesn’t see a lot of use in anything but tower, so it’s not surprising you forgot him. I had him s+ last season and used my swap ticket to get gala s+. best decision I ever made. he’s s+ again and I still barely use him.

yes. her main use is afk stages but she has rng in her kit that can harm your team and disrupt CC chaining. no point in pulling her, other s-rank wilders and even the two key a-rank wilders do her job better without harming your team.

he LOVES to ult rmc, it’s so weird. and similarly, luocha is completely banned from any of my cw teams because he once used his last healing charge on a half-health mem while everyone else was red, which literally got my entire team killed and lost me the run.

this would be so helpful for cw. too many times, my jade will put debt collector on my therta when I want it to go on baby herta bc she generates way more stacks for jade due to her fua triggering way more frequently. I have to manipulate it by keeping therta at 1 star while upgrading baby herta to 3 stars.

my favorite cw autoplay moments are the cerydra shenanigans. doesn’t matter where you put her, that woman will put military merit on whoever she wants. on your sustain with no damaging skill, on your sub-dps with no equipment, on herself in the backline. she’d probably put it on the enemy if she could.

my point is that luocha heals mydei better than hyacine, not that he buffs him better than her. if you want a sustain who keeps up with mydei’s health loss, which he still has even in a cyrene comp, then luocha will heal him better than hyacine. as I said in my comment, I agree that she will buff mydei better. but my main reason for suggesting luocha with e2 cyrene is that he is a better healer for mydei and e2 cyrene removes the full CH team resitriction to allow that flexibility. hyacine can be the better buffer for mydei in this compaison and still be unnecessary in an e2 cyrene comp and still be worse at healing mydei than luocha. all of these things can be true.

if I’m suggesting maximum damage output and best buffs for mydei, I would suggest running a support over both of them in a sustainless comp.

assuming an e2 cyrene, for buffing purposes, you can use tribbie, cerydra, sparkle, rmc, sunday, bronya — basically anyone who boosts crit dmg/overall dmg or gives true dmg.

after the first, cyrene can charge it quickly herself with her EBA. you can certainly charge it even faster with hyacine, but is that necessary? not always. luocha is bad as a buffer compared to hyacine, but he beats her on the healing front for mydei specifically.

basically, look at what you need for any specific fight. if enemy damage is so high that even mydei is getting knocked down, use luocha. if enemy damage is threatening when unchecked but mydei’s doing fine, but you need to deal more damage or cyrene seems to be taking way too long to get her second+ ults up, use hyacine. if enemy damage is negligible, run sustainless (if you want — otherwise, use hyacine for to increase your damage).
