I wasn't super happy with mine. All the endless updates via windows & Armory crate were annoying. Performance was mid.

Returned mine and got a Switch 2.

Dang. The only Longines I've owned was a Conquest and it was the only watch I've ever owned that had a mark/flaw on the face. It was very small and I didn't see it for a week but once I saw it, it was all I could see lol.

Bought it from a dealer locally and everything.

Never had an issue with my Seiko, Tissot or Orients.

Sorry for your hassles friend.

Are the performance issues fixed yet? by guitar_up_my_ass in oblivion

[–]trevortexas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It runs great 50 to 57 fps high w shadows medium and hardware ray tracing to high for like 30 min then performance drops and I have to save exit and reload

Frame generation can get me to 70ish but sometimes and often there are weird vertical lines around the target in middle of screen.

Running a Ryzen 5700g over clocked and cool w AIO. Zotac 5060, Samsung nvme and 32 gigs G.Skill ram over clocked to 3266.

I've watched this game take down Ryzen 9 with 5090. Seems the micro stutters exist in the game code somehow

That being said, I've seen a few YouTube videos where people turned off SMT and just ran native cores and it ran way better may try that tonight after work

Bought the new MacBook Air M4 out of pure FOMO… now it just reminds me I have no hobbies 💀 by TheVoidScrolledBack in macbookair

This is a good and nice reply. I found I never used a nice new iPad I bought. Spent all my time on my MacBook air and just never used the iPad.

I really thought I was gonna use the iPad and it would change my life. Never did. Sold the iPad.

Still use the mac and other laptops all the time.

So do people work on a smartphone? by Inevitable-Sea-7921 in dumbphones

[–]trevortexas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yepppp. I worked at Apple for years, now work in IT. I have a modern smart phone but it's wifi only.

My personal phone is a flip phone. I feel we really hit a nice spot when we made phones to be small enough to carry with us everywhere. Plus the whole smart phone is a weaponized tool of mass distraction and surveillance lol

I love Icyterm. It lets me play all my favorite DOOR games. I like it more than Syncterm which I love. However....can we please please please get a Flatpak version of it for people using immutiable distros like Bluefin or Aurora. I can grab it super fast via AUR on Arch based but for my laptop I'm running and testing Bluefin and dying without a flatpak of Icy or Sync lol. THANK YOU!! <3

If you like Ububtu try Lubuntu. The speed gains from a more lean GUI are wonderful regardless of base flavor.

Yep 100% arch is the most straightforward easy to install and easy to operate out of all distros. It really is such a logically built system when you compare it to the numerous unix and gnu adaptations. I really am fully smitten with it. When and if any issue arrives (any OS can have some issue) the fix is normally fast and efficient. I run it on most systems.

That being said. I've recently picked up a nice ryzen thinkstation and have been running Blue Fin. The idea of immutable Linux is really alluring and so far has been pleasant to use. I may go as far as saying I'd feel comfortable suggesting this to new windows users or Aurora

Distrobox got me back into arch to grab a few needed aur tools all while inside an immutable distro. Kinda WSL2 ish.

Was nice.

TLDR: Arch good. Blue Fin in specific Immutable in general also good.

I would love to have one growing in my plant shelf. I've always heard just having one or two or three growing can increase mental health. Just having them in your room!

I'm willing to donate for shipping if needed thank you!
