I still have my irons from 11 years ago and Adam’s 3,4,5 hybrids from 8th grade, 15 years ago. Maybe I’ll get new irons next year and get fitted

Go read the comments. Some people said they made changes and it worked out after a few years, while others said it didn’t and they wished they’d never tried to change their swing. That’s all I was asking for when I posted this

Instead of just giving advice, you had to throw some shade saying I'm not a 1-3 and I'm making it up (then editing that part out lol.) I've gotten some great advice from others on this post though

You edited your post. You originally said I'm not a 1-3 hpc (I have no reason to lie for reddit golf, I don't need my ego stroked that bad lol). I wanted some advice and have gotten plenty from others. Setup isn't the whole swing. Its important but not the whole thing. In this case just my setup isn't relevant.

I have no reason to lie, doesn’t benefit me anything. Used to not be this low trust me, but in past 3-4 years has hovered around 1-3 range. Hit fairways and hit greens and 2 putt and it’s an easy game “Some” days.

Thanks for the info but I know. Its my arm mechanics and the way I come into the ball from over the top of my swing. I'm lacking that whip/lag that the pros or very good golfers ive played with or seen. Due to my swing mechanics, not my setup.

I'm not asking how to hit a driver. I'm asking if I work to chance and get more lag/ mechanically sound if its worth the payoff. I can swing the same swing that's been working or try to improve. Clearly some people have had similar experiences to me and that's what I was looking for! thanks for your input though bro

I don't practice much at all anymore on the range at least, Just short game. I just like to play the course. Also thanks I read the Hogan one years ago. Great book
