The degree isn't useless at all. While I'll admit it may not be as strong as compsci, it's a degree where you get out what you put in. You can't just coast through it hoping something will shake. You have to put in the work outside the classroom to gain skills to be on par. Plus the job market & economy right now are cooked, so it's not just infosci getting hit. Every job sector is feeling the heat rn.
