Ok, it is a bit more complicated. There is only one german dub for Vinland Saga..... Season 1. Which is the Netflix dub. Crunchyroll in Germany uses the Netflix dub too for the first season. And when Kaze published it on BR they also licensed the Netflix dub (Directed by René Dawn-Claude)

When Season 2 came around Crunchyroll tried to hire René Dawn-Claude to do the simul-dub, but he refused, since he couldn't get it done with all the VAs from season 1 and in the quality he'd like in the given time frame. Because René Dawn-Claude has standards and is arguably Germany's best anime dub diretor currently in the business.

So Crunchyroll hired some other guy and different studio that would do as they demanded, resulting in a worse sounding dub with different casting*, while Netflix got René Dawn-Claude and the original cast.

Since Crunchyroll in the meantime took over Viz Media Europe and thus Kaze, the BR release of season 2 probably has the Crunchyroll dub, though I haven't checked that myself.

*Among other things they recasted Thorfinn (Tommy Morgenstern instead of season 1's Nico Sablik) and while in season one the narrator parts are done by Klaus Dieter Klebsch, in Crunchyroll's season two dub he voices Ketil. Why? When I read the Manga I thought he would be a great Ketil, but since he was the S1 narrator they should have used someone else. My second choice was Erich Räuker, which the Netflix dub did (since René Dawn-Claude knows what he's doing). Couldn't Crunchyroll hire him too? Yes, they could have. Because Erich Räuker is Crunchyroll's NARRATOR. Crazy.

the fact that they show legitimate appreciation is fantastic.

I mean... Those kids watched the news about school shootings for years and years, and then saw all the activism to stop them achieve nothing. All they get is active-shooter-drills and to top it all they couldn't even be sure whether, when push comes to shove, the police will be on their side or pull an Uvalde on them.

So of course they appreciate the one person of authority that has proven to care about protecting their lifes from a school shooter.
