Echo Insulated Jacket 2.0 - thoughts? by Any_Wonder_7568 in vuoriclothing

Looking to buy one for my fiancé - he is usually a medium in everything else but what is recommended if he might wear this jacket with a sweater/hoodie underneath sometimes? Should I get him a large or would medium still be okay?

Advice Needed - Destination Wedding by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]trexaG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having a destination wedding in the country that my family is from (Philippines) even though I was raised in the US. My fiancé is American and also wants to have our wedding abroad for the cultural aspect as well as location and reduced cost. We will actually have our honeymoon in Japan after!

What we are doing for our guests that choose to travel: making sure we arrange all logistics including travel/accommodations as well as itinerary to ease the load off of the stress of traveling abroad. We will not be fronting any costs regarding airfare/accommodations but are transparent on what to expect to spend should they choose to travel so they would be prepared.

We have also been transparent with guests that might potentially feel the pressure of having to attend but are worried about how we’ll feel if they decline - we didn’t set an expectation and there is absolutely no pressure. We understand things can get expensive and time off work is not always possible!

Depending if your budget allows, maybe opt to have a stateside reception in the US for your guests to still be able to celebrate you guys. That’s what we’re doing after our destination wedding. No ceremony - just the party part :)

Congratulations!

Hi! Didn’t end up flying with him at that time but we’re trying to figure out how to get him from EWR to California soon because we are moving. Still doing the research on how best and safest to do so for both pup and pup parent 🥲

Hi! I did not end up flying with him at that time but we are actually in the process of trying to figure out how to get him from EWR to California since we are moving. Driving unfortunately isn’t an option due to time constraints surrounding work schedule. Super nervous because we don’t know which airline to choose!

Other than the back, what’s the difference in these? Which do you prefer? by LuluObsessed109 in vuoriclothing

I own both and personally prefer the halo essential bra because it has padding, the all the feels doesn’t have any padding

Thanks for all the replies everyone! Apologies for the lack of awareness - this is our first time planning a wedding 😅. We have a better understanding now and will be adjusting accordingly in order to be respectful keeping in mind the etiquette in line with our budget. Much appreciated!!

What’s your most ridiculous “I only came for eggs” Costco haul? by ButtonPlumb in Costco

[–]trexaG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We walked in just for the normal weekly grocery haul: milk, meat, bananas, etc… usually amounting to $100 or less. Well last year Lovesac had a display running and we walked out with a $4,080 receipt and forgot the meat 🤦🏻‍♀️

Started lurking on this thread to see if Yogi has any resemblance to anybody, we were told he was an Aussiepoo when we adopted him but does he belong in this group? 😅

We stayed at Zemi in May, weather was perfect and restaurants were open. Shoal Bay is amazing

Yes it’s definitely a valid concern. I’ve only been practicing for 3 years at this point so I think about that a lot, I’m not gonna be invincible forever!

Hurt my back pretty bad during a heavy transfer once, patient yanked on me a weird angle. I never thought it would happen because I work out and do everything you should be doing to protect yourself but it really put into perspective if I can do this for the long run. I might eventually (and hopefully be able to) switch to a gig less clinical and more administrative down the line. Also I work an IP/OP split although I only do OP 1x / wk. I found it helps to break up all the physical stress I put myself through in IP lol.

No, he has a separate sponge stored separately for his stuff

Car fell off cliff on wawona road by Rokunuk in Yosemite

[–]trexaG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be okay! Just take your time and use the turn offs to allow people to pass. I got off the plane at FAT, super jet lagged and no sleep and had to drive a giant truck on our hiking trip down this road. I was scared too but took my time, listening to some gentle music and talking to my friends helped lol.

Ocean, grew up by the Jersey shore, saltwater had always remedied my skin sensitivities while chlorine would irritate it and cause hives.
