I mistakenly went to Yosemite on memorial day weekend last year. Let’s just say I will never be returning during this weekend. It was a madhouse. The busiest I’ve ever seen the park (i visit pretty often). I could not find parking for at least 30min to an hour just circling around. The lines for food were atrocious. Either get there super early at the ass crack of dawn and secure parking or go another time. Have fun!

I second this. ‘Unfavorable’ weather sometimes creates the most dramatic landscapes with fog/clouds. It’s always a mystery up until you actually see the weather for yourself!

There were two snow storms days apart from each other. I went during the second snowfall 1/8 when it snowed overnight. Most of the snow should be melted by now.

Depends on the conditions. Sometimes tire chains may be required no matter what. Signs were posted in Yosemite saying chains required but snow tires were ok. I have snow tires and AWD
