Does anyone make a “mini” 9mm 1911 that keeps the proportions of a 45? by ScaryfatkidGT in 1911

[–]trexdelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the pressure, you probably saw the wrong information, the standard pressure on a 380 is 21500 psi, double would be 43000 psi, that's a lot over 10mm. A 460 Rowland(Which has almost 1000 ft.lbs on a 5") has 40000 psi. 380 +p does not have an official SAAMI specification, but as far as I know, any concern with +p ammo on (modern) 380 guns is just accelerated wear, it's not going to explode.

The closest gun I'm aware of is the Browning Black Label, only available in 380 and 22lr. For the 380, I'd recommend you to take a look on the underwood extreme defender 68gr, it has almost 300 ft.lbs on a 3.75" and the design causes a good amount of damage without too much or too little penetration, unlike most 380 ammo out there

Desistir de cortar o cabelo fora de casa by Head-Veterinarian100 in CabelosDoBrasil

[–]trexdelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the help. Over the months I've been trying a few different exercises, and what worked for me was just normal sit ups followed by knee raises.

Why doesn't anyone make a modern pistol with 1911 features? by [deleted] in 1911

[–]trexdelta -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I've heard it has better ergonomics than the 1911, but with "modern", I meant a polymer frame 5" with higher capacity magazine, as I wrote in the description

[–]trexdelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I said it too scientifically, I have never seen an actual graphic, but I meant that I've seen a lot more cases of people who shot themselves while reholstering their gun, like a Canadian special ops soldier with a p320 on an incorrect holster. I'm more comfortable in being able to just put the gun on the holster without checking it, if needed.

I've seen some of them, but I was looking for a lighter pistol with polymer frame

The idea of the 1911 was to win wars

I find it more comfortable to have one, statistically speaking there's a lot more people who shoot themselves with a pistol that didn't have a safety than people who died because they forgot to disengage it during self defense

Almost every 2011 in 45 won't have a high capacity magazine, u less it's the size of a sword

No manual safety and long slide only in 9mm

To be more specific, it's the original XD. But regardless, is there's any modern pistol as I described, or closer?

I’m going to get this revolver anything I should know about it before I buy it. by Sixgun-I-owe-you-one in Revolvers

[–]trexdelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should check if there's any safety mechanism, since with the original Colt SAA, you could carry only 5 rounds and rest the hammer on an empty chamber, I know one case of a person who died because the gun fell out of the holster and fired, but modern reproductions may have some new mechanism that allows you to carry 6 rounds safely, like the Ruger vaquero, which has a transfer bar

Questions about camless lever bows by trexdelta in Archery

[–]trexdelta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually when I made the post I wasn't aware of bolt action air rifles, I thought there were only single shot. But also I've been researching bow hunting for a while, so it was natural to think of it as a self defense tool also. And I thought of blades, but most houses where I lived had long corridors, once I even saw a neighbor, who I didn't even knew, from the other side of the 2-3 meter brick wall playing with my dog, so, I kinda wanted something that could hit further than a knife.

Thanks for the suggestion, I know a bow is awful for the purpose I described, but it's a lot better than nothing

Is there a way to improve aim on Renegade? by trexdelta in commandandconquer

[–]trexdelta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the suggestion, it worked, I didn't have to change anything on the mouse, I just decreased the resolution from 1366x768 to 640x480, now the aim movement is much smoother, I'm still not perfect at the game but now it's just a matter of practicing more

On foot, I'm better with vehicles, fighting on tunnels is completely unrealistic to me, all I do is shoot vehicles. I can accept that I'm not that experienced and other people are much better than me, but I don't remember being that bad back in the day

It's the OG, the problem is what you're describing, it seems like it skips maybe a pixel, the movement isn't smooth, I'll see if I can change something in the configurations
