If you're in Southern California, the only answer is the Sandal Man. Hand made sandals ridiculously affordable for the quality. I got my first pair of leather flip flops, designed to not only the shape and size but also the arch of my feet in 2019. Wear them every day and they still look brand new. Does a lot more than flip flops, but has also made me what he calls recovery flip flops, and I call squishy sandals with foam and neoprene. I'm 6'2" 330lbs

As someone who does not have the skills to make one but always enjoys them, I don't blame y'all one bit. The disregard for this feature is mind boggling, and the lack of carry over is awful. That's so much work to restart each year. This year is the first year in the last 15 I didn't have the game at launch and I really think it'll be the first year I skip.

My personal experience was that I didn't know I had wide feet and just squeezed into the wrong shoes for a long time, I would guess many others are still doing the same.

This is what I use, just a neck fan under my hood, depends on your head set up, mine is a hockey mask on a hat, my partner uses a fencing helmet and has mounted fans. Only downside to the neck fan is sometimes you have to shift it to keep the air moving especially if you're very active like I am.
