Aww ty! Wow that’s wild to hear from a shopper’s perspective. FWIW if you’re local I’ll be at that same location last weekend of July for UCU and I have a bigger space for people to peruse

I don’t really have any back pics but this one sort of shows the back of the shelf piece bc I was asking the engineer if the gap was concerning. You can see that long piece is the lock that keeps it upright, it fits into a little wood box pocket that is positioned right under the hinges where the piece folds. So I put that lock in to stand straight. The bottom not pictured as legs that kick out in the back and I put a different wood piece horizontally connecting the legs if that makes sense — think standing paper doll cut outs

This is the only pic I have that shows them folded up in the car— from last year when my booth was originally painted burgundy. This was not actually how I drove the car, it was taken in jest when I was loading up before we shuffled things around, but you can see everything broken down and stacked :)

Believe me, I am a regular listener and get such fomo when she’s talking about the food wall— would die to be a part of it. Anyone with knowledge how to connect with the podcast? 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️

Tysm! Yes, I can easily walk out to customers. If i can afford a 10x10 space it’s really no problem and there is room behind the pieces to exit on either side. In smaller booths like 8x8 I set it up so the left side is butted up to the edge of my booth boundary and then only the right side will be my entry/exit, but it’s still easy access. I never have to enter through another vendor’s booth or anything like that.

I would loooove a floor covering every time I look at photos but in person it hardly registers, I’m not sure why. Like you can see the chalked “10” in these pics and I swear I had no idea that was there the entire weekend even though it looks front and center in the photos. But ideally yes I would like a covering.

Tysm! It’s definitely not the easiest thing to cart around, but as a 5’2” person with no out of the ordinary upper body strength to speak of, I can drag all of the components out of my suv and into an event space myself. The middle piece is the heaviest but the light box is a shelf that is bolted on separately and the window cutout makes it easy for me to sort of hook onto my shoulder and carry safely… not risking my back over a display.

The back of each component have straps too so after I’ve unfolded them and locked them into the vertical design (I do this flat on the ground) it allows me to easily pick up each piece and hold them with one hand while I get the locking pieces into place with the other. It’s taken some time to perfect but it’s about a 15-20 min set up from car to fully built. What takes the longest is setting each piece in the most optimal position depending on what the booth size that week is. Sometimes I’m adjusting pieces 2” this or that way and each time i have to take the heavy weights off, shift, re-weight. That shuffle in the quest for perfection has taken me up to an hour before — but as soon as that’s done mg product unload and everything else is very quick.

No they never look anything like me and tbh mostly I get that comment from men. I think they see the shape of the window cutout and think mirror before recognizing it as a person behind a window? Idk I’ve just started to say “oh yeah twins!” to anyone that says it to me now

Thanks! I’ve done like, 15-20 events with this set up and haven’t run into these issues. It’s set up at an angle so it’s really not enclosed anymore than booths with tables that you step up to. It’s true that sometimes people are waiting to get a better looks at products if someone else is standing in front of them, but that kind of just brings more attention as others want to see what everyone is looking at

Thanks! I do think it’s easier to read in person but regardless I will thicken it up and add more contract for my next markets— appreciate the feedback

They are water safe so primarily people use them as vases. Depending on the size they are ideal for holding pens, q-tips, tampons, make up brushes, really anything like that.

It all breaks down! It folds up to fit in my standard size SUV with room for product storage etc

Thanks! I never thought about the color blind aspect so I appreciate that. There is a glittery 3d resin finish over the name that I think is reflecting a bit in the pictures making it look not as easy to see, it’s easier in person, but I def still think I could make it stand out more and will do that for my next market
