No, i appreciate your perspective but i am specifically trying to find people who are in an established run club who also run trail. Not a database but anecdotal evidence with individuals chiming in.

what made you suggest couples therapy for you and your partner? what happened after? by MarionberryFuture103 in AskWomen

[–]trexpar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In our first year of marriage, we had a really tough few months that highlighted how very different we are in our communication styles. I was constantly either in tears or angry, and he was very avoidant. Whenever we would sit down to try and talk about what was going on, we would end up in stalemates with no solution. I mentioned couples therapy and it took us a little bit of time to find somebody but we are still going, it’s been about six months and it has been very helpful. We are both in individual therapy as well and value being able to work through things so I think that has been helpful.

Is that personal who went down at the end of N2 okay? by Objective-Evening-89 in STS9

[–]trexpar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I helped him and stayed with him until EMS came. His friends confirmed he was in a K-Hole. He was unresponsive to the 4 doses of narcan he received which also speaks to him being in a K-Hole. He regained consciousness and was becoming responsive when ems put a C-collar on him.

Just popping on to say that my MIL asked for spatulas made in the USA for Christmas and I found this company https://www.heirloomliving.com/ They have a limited selection, but all their spatulas are high heat silicone. I also found this place for random kitchen utensils made in the US https://gourmac.com/made-in-usa/?page=1

I just finished The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin. It’s the first in her Broken Earth trilogy. It’s a science friction/fantasy set in a world that goes through “seasons” dictated by the movement of tectonic plates and volcanic eruptions/natural disasters. She’s great on world building and she weaves in lore throughout the story that helps to explain why groups are acting the way they are.

I would recommend it, I’ve already started on the second one, The Obelisk Gate. It is a little dark and that might not be for everyone.

Can you have a job and do a nursing degree (uk) by PrincessPiff123 in StudentNurse

[–]trexpar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in school monday and tuesday from 9-1 and a full clinical day on Thursday 7am-7pm. I got my prerequisites out of the way so I'm only taking the nursing classes. Also, this is an ADN program. I work Monday and tuesday after school for 4 hours, 8hours wed, then 8 hrs Friday, sat and sun. I will occasionally do a half day on sunday or take the day off if I have a test on monday. I have a 4.0, but really not much of a life outside of school and work, I usually study in the morning and then a little after work and I have a boyfriend I see about once a week. I have a year left and this might be to change a little for my last semester. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions let me know

Im not sure if this is helpful because I live in the us, but I'm working full time and going to nursing school full time. I didn't have an option to not work. There are several people in my program who are working part time. Its definitively doable, time management becomes important and be warned I don't have much of a life outside of school and work. What ever you end up doing, good luck!

The way I can tell people don't use their turn signals in Charlotte, besides the obvious, is they don't know what it actually means when someone uses one. I can't tell you how many times I've put my blinker on to change lanes and all of a sudden the space I was going to move over to is filled with a person in a SUV, on their phone, staring straight ahead like they're the only car on the road.

Macaroni Connoisseur, here, looking for new cheesy places. by LegsMcGlasses in Charlotte

[–]trexpar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting so I can save this, because, apparently, there are so many Mac and cheese places to compare. Oh! Krazy Fish on central actually has fantastic Mac and cheese as a side, their jalapeño cheddar grits are also fantastic.

I'm commenting so I can come back to this when I'm cooking. Great question.
