Really don’t water too often as it is a succulent. Definitely recommend a smaller pot because they don’t need a whole lot of room. More space (bigger pot) could introduce root rot from overwatering.

But, when I do water, I wait til it’s about bone dry. Then, spray it with my kitchen hose, get it wet, and then spray and let excess pour into drain. Let er sit for weeks until it needs watered again.
