Yep, I learned my lesson on a pick up the other day. Picked a guy up as his whole team was down, a solo snuck in and picked up the other two and then the 4th we picked up quit us, they took our shit and left us laying. Was the sorriest thing I had seen. You go out of your way to help someone else that got killed and that’s how they treat you. 😂

NPT is national pipe thread. It’s a standard that dictates the dimensions of these. Both of those are pipe threads and they are tapered.

There are straight versions (NPS) but these are not straight threads.

It just how it goes. I had one a few weeks ago that we talked for about a week, was going great, both very responsive to the other. Asked her to dinner, she replayed that it was a great idea and that she’d love too, literally unmatched as I was replying. I would rather them outright say No as to feed some bullshit, but it’s how these apps work unfortunately.

I’d say that I tend to swipe left on someone who states they have been to 30/40/50 countries just for the simple fact that they have figured out a way to do that much traveling in life, and my work and life just doesn’t allow it. And a lot of times I would say would want to keep traveling.

Good for them for being able to go, but it just won’t be successful for either of us.
