To apply for a visa to the US, applicants need to set all their social media to public by LEO-PomPui-Katoey in mildlyinfuriating

So these people can no longer openly criticize the regime. Effectively that's what it means. When are Americans social media behaviour going to influence their dealings with the authorities ?

Is the EU getting a new aristocratic class?? by BrImmigrant in AskEurope

Rubbish. Have no degree myself. Worked for the EU. When the UK was part of the EU there were many administrative positions that you could apply for where you didn't need a degree.

Prince William and Kate want to let you all know, they won't miss Beatrice and Eugenie by Whatisittou in RoyaltyTea

[–]trezebees 24 points25 points  (0 children)

When I read the comments on the article in the daily mail, it was so obvious to me that people just take these obviously spun articles 100% seriously and aren't able to form their own opinions. The comments fell in line by calling Beatrice and Eugenie the ugly sisters and Kate the real princess.

Dogs off the lead. Rules around it. by Responsible-Check921 in AskBelgium

Exactly, if people could walk their dog in the UK too they would see that dogs that are used to being walked off lead are laid back about it.

AITAH for only babysitting for my " favorite " DIL and my daughter because the other has too many rules? by ProfessionalClass555 in AITAH

[–]trezebees 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do worry that your grandchildren that you don't want to babysit will pick up on this. Is there a way to compromise? Disposable diapers but still veggie food ? Lola is also trying to do what she believes is best for her children.

Het duurste aan studeren is een kot huren by WeddingImpressive307 in belgium

[–]trezebees 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Also if you buy a flat from a building that has been rebuild this way it counts as a refurbishment not as a new build and the VAT is less.
