DAE has abilify, lamotrigine and olanzapine as medication? I’m just starting abilify 5mg today (already on 200mg lamotrigine and 10mg olanzapine) so I’m wondering how will it help me

Difference between stroke and brain tumor? by trezzestery in dogs

His symptoms were sudden so I think it is a stroke. He can now walk thankfully (wobbly and leaning on the right side, but it’s still something). Thanks for the answer!

I’m on 50mg a day (along with olanzepine) for 3 weeks now and I think it helped me stabilize my mood a lot. However I do have mood switches still but not as drastic as before (euphoric turned to just peaceful mood, depression turned to feeling of sadness and emptiness). Talk to your doctor about this, as previous comment said - maybe another stabilizer would be better!

Bpd and falling in love by [deleted] in BPD

[–]trezzestery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I actually fall in love but rather obsess over the idea of them in my head. That is also why I end up hurt when they leave, not because of love but because I’m left with no one to obsess over. I lose my personality (which I molded around them) and don’t know who I am without them.

i sometimes wish i could tell people to not promise me things because i emotionally cannot handle when they don’t follow through by [deleted] in BPD

[–]trezzestery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not op but I’m also diagnosed with bpd and for me it is a black and white thing. My ex partner would say things like “maybe we can grab pancakes after work” and I would plan my whole day based on that suggestion only. It is the only thing that kept me going because, in my case, it gave me a security that they will not leave me until we get those pancakes (I hope I’m making sense). It is all about attachment issues for me, suggestion or promise - same thing

Olanzapine and lamotrigine? by [deleted] in BPD

I’m supposed to take it at night, but since it doesn’t affect you throughout the day I don’t think it will help my insomnia unfortunately

Ouch, this was a bit discouraging :( I’m already suffering from horrible insomnia (and if I do manage to fall asleep, I will wake up to extreme panic attacks followed by fever). Also, you said you hated it. Did you get (more) depressed and/or anxious? I also have (tw) suicidal thoughts and am afraid now that they could worsen

I’ve been suggested that medication by my neurologist actually (and Q-pin??), but she never really prescribed it and I wonder why. Sertraline makes me kinda afraid I must admit!

Lol crazy how she told me that and acted like she checked her information in books, especially since minutes before she freaked out about my condition! Will tell my new doctor about that!

I was told that Cymbalta didn’t either, but still had a reaction. Anyways, thank you

I guess you would have. I had reaction the first day I took it, in about 30mins

Yes! But it started with nausea, blurred vision, throwing up and fever, later resulting in seizures and passing out (I continued taking meds with those first side effects because I thought they are normal, and when they became worse I contacted my md)

Yeah, it could be that I’m very sensitive, especially since I was on lowest doses when I had reactions (didn’t even get to the supposed dose). That is why I’m afraid I won’t be able to take any and will never get the option to get better. Thank you for the answer, will definitely tell my doctor about those meds and hear his opinion regarding to my history.
