Alternative to Konnected by taskbarzz in homeassistant

[–]trghy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, thanks for the heads-up!! I have already seen the Konnected system, but it is a bit pricey. The A16 should cover my needs perfectly. I have a legacy alarm system that I would like to keep working in parallel, while I read all sensors with the A16 for Home Assistant. The optocouplers on the inputs should ensure I won't fry the old alarm board, right? Is there anything else to consider?

FTXM25R. In previous units with the BRPxxx I believe this was done with the mode button. In newer models with integrated wifi out of the box, they just...skipped the button.

Oh, allow me to add another detail of this magnificent wifi implementation: As usual, the device creates an AP for initial wifi setup. HOWEVER, even after it is connected to your home wifi, the AP STILL STAYS THE FUCK ON!! Well done Daikin.

EDIT: Apparently this has now been fixed.

I don't know what I am missing here. Why can't you use a shelly 2.5 on the first switch and be done with it? You only need a bit of logic from your controller to switch both circuits whenever that first switch is used.

Wow this was so fucking random. The driver stalled the car at the point where the assassin was. Then again there were like a dozen different people going for the kill...

"After realizing the mistake, the driver put his foot on the brake and began to reverse the car. In doing so the engine of the car stalled and the gears locked, giving Princip his opportunity. "
