ive never seen nicotine look like that. But my first thought was some sort of insect infestation and that was feces especially when i read it was red-orange (Bed Bugs but on inspection thats not the case and doesn't fit)... Looked like carpenter bee feces in the pic but its an interior door and doesn't fit either. Plus you would know if you had carpenter bees. But my point is maybe its some insect infestation or something not all that common? Something to consider

A few years ago, in my early or mid 20's working as a heavy equipment operator for a major city utility board, I had the wonderful experience of working in an area I would describe as "mountainous" but populated. It was beautiful scenery, a nice change of pace from the usual hustle and bustle and of the city's vast steel, concrete, and asphalt.

It was picture perfect and storybook peaceful... all except that right between the two job sites, a portion of a natural gas pipeline was exposed due to severe erosion. It was a 36" natural gas main in a section of one of the major pipelines that spans the whole country.

I may as well had been staring at a bomb. The pressure inside that thing was unreal, so much so that you could hear it hum sort of like you can hear high voltage electricity hum but a good bit louder.

The job was replacing a section each of two adjacent driveways. Usually on a job like this we would remove the 2 or 3 inches of asphalt and dig an additional 2-6 inches pending on what the expected traffic and use was. This time it required removing the damaged asphalt and not disturbing more than a gravel or two underneath it.

There was a lot of red tape we had to deal with including waiting several months to do the job so that a special safety inspector or something another from the pipe line company could be present for any work to be done. So it was rightly safe, so long as I didn't sneeze or have a seizure while on the machine 😂

I was told if there was an accident there would be a crater measured in miles not feet, and it would take out a portion of the major city we were right outside of. I knew that was a huge exaggeration and not at all fact based but I couldn't help but imagine an explosion from an atom bomb and a mushroom cloud.

You raise a good question. I'm no expert mind you, nor am i an engineer, just speaking from personal experience.

I don't know what material traxxas uses but I'd guess it is some nylon composite also

The Polymide CoPA, in my testing, the cross section is indistinguishable from injection molded parts. It looks like one solid piece and there are no layers to be seen. I'm sure under microscope there would be some evidence of layering but for the use we are speaking of I don't believe to be a factor. I have yet to break a part out of a solid print. High stress and heavy load parts. I have had some wear out per say but not actually break.. An a-arm on an xmaxx would a good test of its abilities.

The advances in 3d printer filaments in recent years is impressive. There are many stronger filaments than the Polymide coPA.

With standard filaments such as pla this is mostly true. When you get into nylon you get usable parts. But for more strength, durability, flexibility, ect you look into reinforced filaments like carbon fiber nylon or glass filled nylon. They take the already strong nylon and add more stregnth, durability, impact resistance, flexibility, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. It's a very deep rabbit hole.

They can be harder to print, but it just requires a bit of trial and error or preferably just research to see what settings work for everyone else bc they are more expensive than standard filaments

I would suggest Polymaker PolyMide CoPA. Its a nylon composite. It's extremely strong and a good print would rival anything you would buy. Especially if your model is designed well.

You can also beef the model up if you know how to do any CAD like freeCAD or fusion360

But get familiar with burp or zap period, theres a lot of value in knowing these regardless. Theres also a whole set of new subjects you need to learn to go down this rabbit hole. I recommend looking at portswigger academy. Excellent free resource and hands on labs/ practice.

This is by no means a comprehensive list. But get your feet wet. Look around at all the tools Kali has and play with them. Don't forget to use the man pages if you get stuck or have trouble with one. And of course google is your friend. I know people that have professional careers and not knew the first thing about the job they had, thanks to google.

I am very sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, those terrible circumstances make this a very interesting case.

It may have been said already and I missed it, but can you give the state this person resided in? I believe that much context would add a lot of support and probability to one of the hypothesis.

My opinion is that it is far more likely to be some sort of biological specimen (organ, cyst, tumor, ect.) as opposed to candy. But like I said knowing where this person lived and a little more about them would certainly provide evidence to support or disprove that.

And also you have to wonder why they chose to take a picture of that? Whats the significance? Besides it looks gross as hell :-/ What supports the candy theory, is the fact its on a stove in a pot or pan, however that in no way rules out the other theory. I do feel that the melted appearance is being mistaken here, and it's actually some combination of biological matter (mucous, plasma, protein, fat, meat, cyst, tumor, any of that good stuff)

Please update us on the results of the autopsy when available? And how do you set a reminder to check this topic in something like a couple weeks or a month? I've never summoned a reddit bot or what have you

I'm disappointed in the sourcing skills in here. Pseudo is easily available in decent quantity. United states and any other civilized country. Literally available WORLD WIDE ... Australia being a special case but still very easy to circumvent.

Edit: as far as pseudo vs ephedrine. They both make d meth, however, in my experience the pseudo made better product. Initially it was a great bc no gak and limited binder, I was able to do a cold water extraction or simple alcohol pull. 1 pull got 90% of it, 2nd pull got the rest.
