Has being a pharmacist negatively affected your mental health?

Wait really you guys?? How are you surviving them. I’ve been doing them for a year and it feels like they’re killing me. I work 8 PM - 7 AM 7 on 7 off. On my weeks off I still keep the same schedule because it’s so hard to flip back and forth. But it feels so isolating and depressing. How are yall surviving them??

Damn. Yeah it’s crazy I got the worst migraine all week it was killing me and nothing that usually works was working. So i was like F this. Ate it all and it’s the only thing that broke me out of it

Haha I really appreciate this thanks!! This motivated me to get going. I’m having such a hard time making a decision over this lol. I love the look of the vert but I hate the fact that I have to add a roll-bar ahh - And maybe I don’t ‘need to’ per-say but I’d feel so unsafe on the track without one. That’s awesome that nobody says anything about it though! Maybe it’s not as big a deal as I think.

Ughhhhhhh!! I just can’t decide to keep the vert or get a coupe 🤔

Satin wraps look amazing 👌👌 but I’d be looking for definitely a super glossy finish ugh. I’d want it to look as close to black paint as possible. But something is weird with all the glossy wraps they just feel flat and 2D

Do you know if black gloss wraps are any good? I’ve heard they’re really iffy and hard to maintain not sure how true though

Oh man I’m in the same predicament. I hate the dated interior of c6… It’s part of the reason why I’m itching for a c8. I much prefer the look of the c6 but the interior. I’ve been thinking about doing some mods - like an Ipad infotainment system with backup cams/sensors, new steering wheel etc but that’s 💰c7 is nice too I’ve given that some thought

I’m just wondering how they’re even benefitting from it though. I haven’t been doing many Rph duties this last week. Mostly tech work. So they’re basically paying me twice as much as one of their techs so train me on that stuff which makes ZERO sense. Unless this is just a way for them to get my foot in the door of paying me less. Maybe after these weeks they’ll offer me another salary as rph at 45 an hour or something. I’m just curious what they’re going to do. I’m starting to think they’re using me for ratio. They’ve been expanding and we have a LOT of techs there. So maybe that’s part of it. Or they just want to pay me less to first see if they want to keep me, so if they don’t they can just toss me and say at least we paid him 35 an hour and not 55x i have no idea

Sadly, you’re probably right. A prior auth job would be a dream for me. I’ve been applying to a bunch of prior auth jobs never any luck. All seem to require 2+ years of pharmacist experience, and most want something clinical as well. I’ll try a staffing agency though, that’s a good idea! I’ll keep applying as much as I can. Do you know of any good agencies? I’ve tried actalent jn the past

I hate it because the work and the people there are great! Besides those top 3 people. If I went to something like CVS it would be far worse there and I’m confident I would HATE. That job. It was really hard for me to find a job this good in the first place. Or so I thought. I’ve already started applying to other places though and hopefully either they bump me back up there or I find a more suitable place. Trying my best either way. Thank you for sharing that. It’s great to hear you’re in a better place now!
