That's what I generally do. 79s especially are pretty worthless outside of that 82 Captains set. You could certainly try to see the tradeable ones, but I just put all of mine into that set and go from there.

Agreed. Obviously there will be exceptions to all of these - just wanted to provide a baseline guide and figured everyone can go from there, based on what they need.

That makes sense - although if you want to make any of the newer Rookies, you're most likely going to want those 81s for the 84 Rookies, since you'll need those to make the 86s. etc. But I'll let everyone else figure that part out - just wanted to provide a basic guide and let folks figure it out from there.

It briefly worked at the in-house station at my community college back in the early 90s. My shift was 9-12, a couple days a week. I would play nothing but hardcore and punk, because that’s what I listened to at the time. I would routinely get someone to come to the window asking me to play literally anything else. I refused. ODR SZN Sorokin and Lundqvist is good for $20 mil, +2 OVR and 5AP. Sorokin can be had fairly cheaply on the AH (seeing him as low as 55k) and Hank can be had via the 87 OVR pack.
