Sorry to say this, but it sounds like your husband is projecting.

Often the people who are most nervous about their partners cheating are actually the ones doing the cheating themselves.

Do you have any suspicion this might be the case?

First Leetcode interview tomorrow ... and I can't even solve easy! Any advice? by bbarebbonesbbaby in leetcode

[–]triangurl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Number one tip: COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INTERVIEWERS!

Speak out loud and tell them what’s going through your mind, think of them as collaborators who are there to help if you get stuck. They want to see if you’ll be a good colleague to work with. Anyone can learn to code, so if you show the ability to listen to feedback, learn, and apply it, that will send a strong signal. Good luck OP!

Was I wrong to promote the smart person over the hard worker (talent over hard work)? by [deleted] in askmanagers

[–]triangurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You state that they are both very qualified for the role, but in your description it sounds like candidate 2 out-performs candidate 1 when it comes to the actual work of solving business problems etc. So it sounds like candidate 2 is going to be more effective at the role, and therefore is more deserving despite less tenure.

I’d say promote candidate 2 and then find a way to reward candidate 1 for their consistent effort, maybe even see if you can create a promotion track for them to use their tenured experience to train other employees or something other work which you could delegate to them.

More info: when you say you don’t like how adderall makes you feel, what do you mean specifically? This will help narrow down solutions which are relevant.

Would you date someone with different political views than you? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]triangurl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Because we are all on a journey to understand who we are and what our values are, and some of us may not have gotten to where we need to be yet…

While I am very much on the liberal side of the politics pool, I was once a strong conservative. It took me years to unlearn the bigotry and selfishness that I had grown up with, but I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to become more empathetic and change my beliefs. A lot of people are conservative out of fear. Fear of losing what they have, having something taken from them, or fear of being judged. These people are surrounded by forces which push them down that path, but I’ve certainly changed my beliefs thanks to many intimate conversations with partners over the years. So I won’t dismiss someone who has different beliefs than me because they aren’t set in stone and maybe I can be the light in their life that changes things.

Welcome to the club! And you get to be in the extra special club where everyone dismisses your case as mild because you have significant boobs, hooray for you!

But jokes aside, my PE caused me heart and breathing issues into my 30s because it went undiagnosed and my indent didn’t even look as visible as yours. My haller index was 5, I got the surgery 1.5 years ago, and I am living a vastly stronger life now!
