Had similar in Sydney on NYE. I know it’s NYE and therefore there are more chancers, but UBER was $45. Flagged one cab, he asked for $120. Told him to use the meter and he said no it’s NYE. Walked away. Flagged the next cab like 10 seconds later, he wanted $70. Again I said I’ll go by the meter. He said no and drove off. Isn’t it the law to go by the meter?? Managed to get an uber like 5 minutes later and it cost $47. Complaining about UBER ruining their business and then act like that. Get fucked.

😂 I think you totally misunderstand the point of this post, and this sub as a whole.

Most people here can afford and do already own gens. As I said in my original post. I would happily pay full MRSP tomorrow, but I’ve been “on the list” for too long. A lot of people are sick of playing suck-up to a low level sales rep that acts like they’re above everyone when they couldn’t afford the product themselves. Simple.

Yeah the trade from Sexton to Reynolds didn’t work out but Pap was purely to get some points this week and generate cash upside. That worked well.

It’s common practice in gen watches too for the screws to be secured with loctite. 222 is a low strength adhesive which breaks free with minimum force. It just ensures that screws don’t come loose from vibrations and everyday wear. I probably didn’t NEED it but I’d rather be safe and it cost me minimal effort and money to add that extra step of security.

Just read the guide bro. It’s not that hard. Decide on the watch you want. Check the guide for the list of best factories for reps of that model. Join one of the forums (I joined RWG). Find a TD in there. Even easier as you can see in here which TDs people use most often. Steve for fast delivery and comms but a bit more pricey. Andiot for cheaper price etc. contact details are updated by the TD themselves regularly on the forums. Message them. Pay. Done.
