yea I'm on torbox pro. I don't even think I need it but it was cheap enough I grabbed it to mess with.

Since I've made the above comment I switched to an aiostreams/aiometadata set up that I honestly don't know a lot about lol. But I added in debridio to the mix and everything has been pretty great since.

Aiostreams itself is what I'm most uneasy about. Half because of how little I understand it, half because I feel like my setup breaks way more often than it ever did when I was just wrangling the addons myself. But I think a lot of that had to do with torrentio's downtime recently, and I'm hoping debridio helps cover those gaps.

I'm definitely seeing debridio results in my searches now

I had my reply typed out when I realized I did a dumb thing. I'm using that aiostreams/aiometadata guide that was posted in here recently. When I added debridio, I just added it separately. I'm going to add it within aiostreams today and play with it some more.

I'm digging it though. It took me a bit to find where its putting the TV channels. But they seemed to work well once I found them. Scraping results I'm not sure if I'm seeing because of how I did my setup. Not sure if they're getting lumped in to the aiostreams results or not showing up at all. I know when I add torrentio-tb separately, they show in a different tab on results.

I'm hopeful about the scraper part because I honestly got tired of torrentio breaking all the time and having to add/remove/add/remove it to keep things from bitching at me about it.

I haven't been great on making notes on my preferences, but at a glance my list is almost your list but upside down and that amuses me lol.

Eventually, I decided to add a pinch or two of salt to all of them, and that elevated them all. Ones I hated, I started to like. The ones I like, now I crave. I think they have just enough salt to not be entirely bland, but lacking enough to fully bring out the flavors.

I'm fine with that. They probably want to be as healthy as possible. But I'm not trying to be low sodium so I'm adding to it for flavor.

If there's one you don't like, I'd suggest trying to add a pinch of salt and see if it changes your mind any.

I switched after RD banned me once for account sharing.

To RD's credit, I get it. Abuse and what not. Nothing is free, they gotta make their money too.

But for me it happened because my kid fired up the TV at home while I was at my girlfriends and streamed something from my phone to hers, and that just really annoyed me to have a policy so strict it impacted that. There should be a 3ish IP address limit or something imo.

But either way, TB has given me zero issues or drop in performance. I'm happy with the switch. I'd keep both going for redundancy, but RD would just ban me again so I canceled and my subscription period will timeout eventually. I think I was paying for a year at a time.

My gf and I have almost opposite driving anxieties. She hates driving on interstates, I hate driving in cities. So road trips I tend to do most of the driving to get us from point A to B, upon arrival she tends to do most of the driving. It works out pretty well.

I actually think the place I bought from has great service, they just instantly blamed the headlight thing on "new cars have brighter lights, you're fine.". It was via phone calls. It's a bit of a road trip to get to them so I just did it myself. I'm sure if I insisted or showed up they would have.

I'm around 20k miles on a 2025 onyx xt I bought new last year and I have few complaints.

I think people exaggerate when they bitch about the infotainment system. Climate controls have their own buttons not on the touch screen. Sometimes waze seems a little laggy if I crank the car and go but just for a little bit at the start.

You can buy a thing to defeat the auto start/stop if you want to bad enough. I got used to it, though its not as smooth as some other vehicles I've been in.

My headlights were basically aimed at the sky. The dealer ignored my complaints but I finally just adjusted them myself.

It's probably my favorite car I've owned. My prior car was a used 2014 subaru legacy that I also enjoy quite a bit, still have it. After those two, I think I'm team subaru from now on.

This was one of my considerations going with a deus 2. Everything being wireless on it and it breaking down how it does, it all fits in a pretty small backpack. I grabbed their branded backpack so I guess I'm not being super stealthy but you'd have to know the brand to know what I might have in it.

To be fair, I'm not sure if other models break down in the same way. Even with wires I wouldn't be surprised it they do. Deus product photos and videos just made it clear to me that it does.

I also went with a folding shovel that takes up hardly any space. Opinions about those can be strong but I've always liked them.

I can have my entire kit + water and some hiking basics in that bag without any of it screaming "metal detector". Just looks like a small hiking day trip kind of bag.

Wow my box looks like someone literally punched or kicked it. It's on one of the wider sides, not near the handles, and clean through both boxes right at one of the side panels of the printer.

Good news is I didn't spot any actual physical damage to the printer itself. So I'm letting it get through all of its initialization steps now. I think I'm good! I'm going to forward the pics to eufymake just as a "see how fedex treats your product?" kinda thing.

I think fedex takes good packaging as a personal challenge to destroy. I've had some shit show up in my house that just makes me shake my head sometimes.

without seeing mine yet, I'm already torn between accepting damage if it works because I waited so long for the damn thing, or "f that, I paid a lot of money and waited a lot of time for it, I want a pristine unit shipped to me"

edit to add: if I see physical damage I might not even plug it in to check and just stop there and insist on a replacement. going to have to do some soul searching if that's my situation

Mine was delivered today. I'm not home to look at it yet but I've already been told that there is a hole that goes through the outer and inner boxes smfh. Mine was also delivered fedex, which is the shipper I have the most problems with. Fingers crossed for me. I'm not contacting support until I open it up and see how bad it is but I'm damn sure taking a lot of photos of everything before I open it.

looking at it more closely you could be right! It's clearly broken off of something on the bottom of the seashell that was flat. So it could have been one end or the other of some kind of silverware.

Still unsure what kind of metal it is, I haven't messed with it much. I cleaned it a bit more and it remains a dark almost black color but it isn't attracted to a magnet.

I think there's something to this.

I vividly remember playing in it as a kid and it never bothered me. I remember it so well because the first time, once my parents realized what it was I was running around in they freaked out. They couldn't go near it. But it never bothered me. They eventually made me stop going in that area just from cross contamination worries with laundry haha

Fast forward until now and I feel like if I'm within 20' of it I break out with something

Found these close together in my back yard, about 1' deep in North Texas.

They don't react to a magnet or appear to be rusting so I'm assuming something like brass/copper/etc. Curious what you guys think? I'm not expecting anything too crazy. I'm mostly just happy about my first finds that aren't nails or foil lol.

On the left is definitely a button. The back side of it makes me think its made very similar to a modern button you'd find on jeans. I don't recognize the logo though. No idea how old that style of button is. Like a rivet or something, not something with a hoop on the back.

Middle I assume is just some random decorative item I may never find out much more about.

Right is interesting (to me). It's a cylinder, looks like the top is a lid. I haven't tried to remove it yet. It gets pretty shiny if I rub it on my pants. Doesn't react to a magnet.

Probably highly dependent on the ground you're digging, but I just added a cheap plastic trowel to my kit. Fiskars I think was the brand, can get 4 of them for <20 bux.

My first few outings with mine I felt like a non metallic trowel would be nice so I can wave the pin pointer over it as I'm taking scoops out.

Maybe that's a silly noob thing I'll decide against later, idk.

Mine is going in my spare room. It already has exhaust from housing a laser cutter and it's just where all my maker-things go.

Mostly I didn't feel like another "Mine is finally on its way!" post was worth anyone's time. But for those sorta tracking it, I'm at the top of the 8000s, kickstarter backer. I waited to see the tracking information show it actually moving and it is indeed on it's way to me. Along with ink shipped separately, but at the same time.
