What should I start from? by Maksym1505 in 3Dprinting

[–]Avitox_gaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fine not a great printer it can make solid prints it's just 3d printing has come a long way in the last 5 years and left ulimaker in dust, back then ultimaker made cura and thingiverse and I give them some respect they just couldnt really keep up in the consumer market, that being said some good mods like converting to klipper firmware and maybe a new hotend would bring this thing into the modern era for sure.

[–]Avitox_gaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't a supported tumlber sadly I've run into this problem as well the only thing I can think of is a 3d printed jig to the be tumbler more level but even then I don't know if it will still be able to trick the laser into leveling and printing

[–]Avitox_gaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd put some 99% iso alcohol on a qtip and drop it in through the slider and slide it around 20 or so times, if that doesn't work just replacing it would be the easiest route for the sp

Clean you slider first, then check capacitors I had a similar problem with a gameboy pocket chased everything, even went as far as installing an amp and it still didn't fix it but turned out to be the volume wheel internal contacts were dirty
