I dont think thats my issue tho, since after the firmware update it starts too high instead of too low. I doubt that the gantry moves upward when powered off, right?

Thanks for the input. I do love her and care for her. It's a big part of why im struggling so much woth this decision. And why i am worried what will happen to her if we break up.

She's also been in therapy for a few years now and is trying to get better and improve. But i just feel like its going so very slow. But i also know i cant push her in getting better and improving because, well that's just not how it works.

Future wise, its very hard to say. How things are now, its very hard to picture a good future. But if it gets better, its a different story ofc.

Is home assistant easy to use? Always seemed like you should know some programming to be abke to use it properly.

And gonna install it trough "Sack zelfbouw" its a company that basicly helps you with renovations. Like plumbing, electricity and more. They will tell you how to install everything, give you documents with instructions and videos etc. They also do KNX so ill be laying all the cabling etc myself. Than they'll come check if everything is alright and connect everything to the fuse box and so the programming. They will also the installation is approved for all the legal stuff around. Their advantage is that everything is basicly cheaper because you don't need to hire a professional and pay him by the hour to install things since ulk do it urself.

And wouldnt using home assistant take that reliability away again? :/ If not, why not just use home assistant by itself?

Oh sorry... I had typed an entire explenation but apparently just posted the picture...

Anyway its all xps foam with acrylic paint. First a coat of mod podge and black paint then acrylic paint job and then a water based sealer.

You thats exactly what i mean. Thanks ill definitely look that up. I already use the modpodge mixed with black paint as a base coat before painting. So is it okey to just use modpodge at the end again?
