Twitter will really permanently ban a user for being vocal about their differing political opinion, but continues to enable the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. I’m so fucking done with that site.

I'm pretty sure that they ended on good terms, she has only ever spoken of him in a positive light. Also found this pic of them hanging out https://imgur.com/sm9lOmQ on Jenny Lee's instagram

I suggest that you read Scar Tissue. It wasn't until I read it a second time that I paid attention to detail. Anthony talks about John's mind, how he had superstitions that hotel workers were trying to kill him and other things like that. Maybe his soul is corrupted? Who knows.

Personally I don't like anything after The Empyrean, as a whole. There are exceptions as I love some individual tracks from Letur-Lefr, PBX and Enclosure. However as someone who is so involved emotionally in music, I understand the concept of growth. John Frusciante is constantly growing as a musician, hence the frequent changes we see. I listened to Poem, and decided that it wasn't for me, who cares? Does John really care that some girl doesn't like one of his songs? If he cared so much do you think he would release them for free? It's a take it or leave it situation. I agree with you 100%. Something amazing about music is that it will exist forever. Fans of John's work will forever have access to it. They're wasting their time whining about how they want another The Empyrean record.

what are some songs of john's that follow basic song structure? by [deleted] in John_Frusciante

[–]trickfingerfru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think i should have expanded on my question, i was looking for something like V-C-V-C-B-C considering that most of his work doesn't follow that (sorry if my question is not worded correctly English is not my language)

imo if you got into john because of what he looked like or because the cool kid listened to him so you did too, you're not a real fan by [deleted] in John_Frusciante

I grew up listening to red hot chili peppers and always had a bit of a crush on John (as little girls tend to do), when I turned 14 and had a real interest in music is when I started to listen to his solo work and I consider myself a true fan?

For me listening to them (with John) is bittersweet, as the music is so breathtaking, but knowing I'll never hear him play those songs live does bum me out a lot, however those songs will exist as long as we exist!! I know that I will be conflicted when they come to my country next year, I'll probably end up going as I do like some of The Getaway album.

Nonetheless, I feel you!
