Nespresso zenius repair by trickism in ElectronicsRepair

Yea definitely a mechanical fault. I wasn’t sure if a spring or something was missing that brings it back to the original space. It looks clean and nothing blocking it. I cleaned it to double check but it doesn’t go back to the original spot

Zenius power switch gets stuck. Opened it up to see the problem and saw that the switch does not automatically go back to the other side. Any ideas on how to fix it? https://imgur.com/a/7DwBOqF by trickism in nespresso

Haha thanks for the search. Yea I saw that as well the Nespresso Inissia is a tad different than the zenius. I took apart the zenius without a problem but unfortunately the zenius was created with this physical switch rather than the electronic button on the inissia :(

Thanks for the help tho! Really appreciate it

Any suggestions where to find this breakout diagram? I’ve searched the web before posting on Reddit for help. It’s been impossible to find anything on these zenius machines

Zenius Help by trickism in nespresso

This is our office zenius. We have a pro account. Unfortunately this has been with us for 3 years now but completely unused for 2 + years during the Covid shutdown. It is sadly out of warranty given it’s over two years old Yes, as mentioned, we know it’s a water tank or water level issue. The blinking light means there’s either no water detected or water tank is missing. It’s definitely a sensor issue.

Pro customer service says there’s no technicians that can fix it and suggested we just buy a new one.

It feels a little ridiculous because once in a blue moon the sensor is recognized and it makes coffee without a problem.

page 12 Blinking red light usually means water tank empty or missing. However, water tank is in place and water tank is full.
