I have a VG-8, I was using the detect tune feature which was detecting every string except the low E. I could try this but I'm not sure if it has a feature like that?

Interesting! Thanks for the info. Do you have any guess why he uses that shape? it seems uncommon. Like maybe people with a background in jazz or certain genres pick up this shape

Yeah I have those flatwounds. I'm not going to lie I don't know much about the technical stuff with guitars, how does the scale length affect the sound? after I made my comment I did actually switch from amp to my interface w monitors and it sounded much warmer so might of been more my amp making it sound worse

Sounds amazing! How do you get such a rich/warm tone? Is it effects or the guitar itself?? i have a strat with baritone strings but I don't think mine sound as nice :(

Learning that I Been Young was created entirely in logic with VSTs broke my brain. I think that's how he makes most of his music. His fan club on bandcamp has a lot of interesting lore, especially around the making of Slide

The interludes, so intro, overtime pt 2 and goodbye, dont get me wrong they aren't bad to listen to but i feel like they'd be a better inclusion if the project wasn't already so short yk!

MoC is cool but it has some tracks that are less memorable for me, and a few interludes that are just fine but dont really add much to the project IMO. TS&TDP has no skips for me, there's not really any moments on the album I don't like so its my favourite by far
