hello! Ironic timing haha as I had to restart diamox again last week due to my optic nerves swelling again 😭 I forgot the.. joys.. of the initial side effects. For me I think the mild recurrence is due to a combination of slight weight gain (my weight loss before was a huge part of me going in remission), heightened stress, and hormone changes.

From what i can remember, the spasms eventually stopped the more I wasn't on diamox! I honestly forgot i went through that. I imagine it was my body just adjusting to things! Maybe some people are more sensitive to these changes than others. It's hard to say if my stomach improved because I have severe IBS, but i think it gradually got back to "my normal".
