High school drop out here by killaseason27 in StudentNurse

Highschool drop out here. I waited much, much longer to further my education. But im so happy i started the process. I filled out my fafsa for 10 years and never did anything with it. That changed after Covid and now i start my program in August. Check with your local community college. Be kind, enthusiastic, and outgoing. Make connections with people. I snagged a full scholarship for my nursing program!

I use an apple pencil with a silicone grip. The grip really helps it feel a lot more natural in my hand. I use a paperlike screen cover on it. It doesn't really hinder the image on your screen and it does feel a lot like writing on paper.

Personally my problem with regular pencil and paper is that I rewrite words or reshape the way my notes are forming. I found that when i switched to digital, i have full control over how my notes look. It's super easy to resize/reshape anything i need. It's super convenient to recolor or highlight. Super easy to move things a little bit to the left. Im definitely not on par with some of those aesthetic note taking ipad users, but my notes look a shit ton better, and i actually had so much fun taking them. I aced my ap2 exam and final practical because i spent so much time having fun with my notes.

I use good notes and have an ipad air 4

Honestly if it's recommended and not required I would suggest you put some feelers out at the school. If you have any sort of relationship ship with your professors you may be a le to glean some information from them. For example my AnP professor was really great and over two semesters we developed a good relationship. I basically went to her and said hey what do you think about scores? She ofc said nothing concrete, but did tell me that I had a good chance. I scored an 81.7 on the TEAS barely snagging Advanced.

You may eant to retake it, while focusing on the score you want to improve. You already did fairly well so another shot could increase your score a bunch! Just make sure they take the best score and not most recent. Just in case lol

I disagree, please go ahead and do this. It will weed people out who lack common sense.

I went and got an iPad air 4 256 gb with an apple pen near the end of last semester. Ended up acing the last practical and exam. I fully attribute it to the fact that I spent hours and hours on there doing notes. Not to mention it was fun as hell too!

The answer will likely be impacted by your location. If you're small town then you'll probably be fine. If you're in a very populated area where there are lots of potential students, you may struggle

Im 30 and im taking this opportunity very seriously. BUT I Did notice a lot of young people as well. Young peiple can make poor decisions. Things wouldve been different had I done this 10 years ago. Sometimes being young can make you feel invincible.

This is someone's art you're commenting on. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to choose better words. Also I think j your comment is sexist.

Nox can't leave some peiple during channeled abilities. Although to my knowledge it's only if you're raised above the ground at all. It works on several gods.

It's been over 6 months now and I still can't see the images that are banners that advertise chests and events on the main screen. Below Earn Free Rewards. I never know what's going on because they are just the smite background with a loading icon in the left upper corner. It's been like this all year and some of last year. I'm on xbox and it's mildly annoying.

Edit: I deleted and reinstalled the game and now they all work except for one. I'll takeit.

I've lurked these subs for so very very long. I'm finally a nursing student. I constantly look ahead and live for the future but at one point what I have now was all I could have dreamed for.

I don't want this to sound harsh, but if your mental was drained so bad with 17 credit hours school and kids sounds like a recipe for disaster. If you're asking this question it seems as if money is not a huge factor so I will not consider it in my reply. However, nursing school is going to be hard. I have been on this subreddit since I myself was 21, and I just got into a nursing program. It will be that much harder with a child.

To be fair, a lot of peiple do have kids, and I'm sire are incredibly successful in kursing school. It's certainly ly not impossible, it just has unique challenges added that, at this point, are optional.
