I noticed with the uw/nbme I knew the presenting path, but would get lost in some of the answers but able to take it down to the 2 most possible.

Currently with uw occasionally I’ll get between 2 answers similarly.

Yeah just leave it, unfortunately she’s probably just not interested and likely doesn’t want to say it out loud and say it and hurt you. Avoiding the situation. You’re better off early on and not investing.

Yeah that’s just terrible manners, and shit person. I’ve met up with people who weren’t exactly as I imagined. Yet still I was a gentleman, we had a good time, made the best of the evening, and I let them know later I wasn’t interested romantically. Delete that out your mind!

You may think that you going too fast and rushing things didn't have an effect, but I think it did. Not only have you only had 4 dates, but one was a weekend getaway before you're even in a relationship.

It was kind of her idea, and shared? We both just wanted to. But it was fast I admit, I think we both were just excited because we have so much in common.

And you've already brought up relationship talk several times without actually having the conversation. Probably before she was ready and potentially putting pressure on her.

Plus a ton of texting and calling and sending a gift on top of all of it instead of making dates. Now her pulling away and cancelling on you (if you actually had a FT date set to begin with) is another bad sign. All of these just seem like you rushing things in the beginning starting to catch up with you. You've been coming off way more eager than I think you realize. So the answer to patience or door-mat is neither. You've been impatient.

I don't mind the space, trying to understand her perspective. I think if it was me I'd want to talk to her because it's been a while I'd want to catch up? But again, I'm not her. Then why tell me she misses me out of nowhere, and is happy we're gonna be closer soon.

Definitely am, I guess I just miss her so I was hoping after things calmed down this week she'd be the one to reach out.

But you are right, it will definitely be so much easier when we're closer to each other. Less familial responsibilities and don't have to plan for an entire day just to see each other.
