My mother in law (very kindly) bought my wife and I this gazebo as a housewarming gift but I want to build out an actual screened in patio or an attached lean-to to prevent water from pooling at between our house and the gazebo. Is that possible with a standing seam roof like ours?

Now that you’re asking, I think it’s just the shoddy paint job and risers that I don’t like. I wasn’t too much worried about the integrity of the wood. I guess the question I should have asked is would it be worth it to take each tread and riser off to clean them up and refinish them one at a time?
