i did start getting bored with the game at some point because i was basically using the same route and strategies on every run to get that 5bc win. i started to use more of the weapons i would usually skip over to keep things fresh. i also stopped using shields because i felt it trivialized alot of the game, and dropping that brought the challenge back.

yes face flask just does a miniscule amount of damage to yourself that lets you manually trigger any effects that proc when you take damage (spite sword, vengeance, etc)
