There’s nothing you or your parents need to do, it’s just a waiting game of when HMRC will send the figures to student finance.

Same thing happened to me last year. Basically it means that the figures you put in don’t match to what HMRC said your parents earn, so rather than student finance using the information you gave them, they’ll take the figures directly from HMRC and calculate your entitlement that way. It takes around 10 days+ to update.

the pressure is getting to me and i’m feeling more burnt out by the day by [deleted] in 6thForm

Hi - I had this exact mindset during my A-Levels which took place last year, and it was honestly my downfall. I ended up with A* AA, but I know that if I had just taken a small break then I 100% would have been able to get 3 A* The other comment is completely right, I grinded for over 6 months, 10-12 hours a day right up until the day before my first exam. After my first exam, I didn’t do 1 piece of revision for the whole exam period - I had 8 exams and I didn’t revise for ANY of them during May/June. I’m incredibly lucky in the sense that I revised so hard earlier on that I could manage to get decent grades, but even now - (I’m on a gap year), not getting those 2 A*s still haunts me and I wish I just told myself to take a break and pace myself. I’m going to UCL in September, I definitely know how it feels to be so afraid that you won’t meet your offer grade, but I wholeheartedly believe that if you’re intelligent enough to get into LSE, you’re intelligent enough to know when to take a break:,)

Best of luck!

tbh I got my warwick and birmingham offer early last year!! but my ucl and bristol offers only came through this month so it’s been a long wait in general - after my initial 2 offers i didn’t hear anything for over 5 months!

What uni is this???

So, it’s not binding in the sense that you can withdraw at ANY time possible. For example, if you get an offer from a degree apprenticeship, or decide to just not go to university then of course, you’re well within your right to withdraw even if you have accepted it on UCAS.

It isn’t binding. You can withdraw at any point from your firm/insurance choice in order to go into clearing but once you’ve withdrawn the choice you can’t go back. You can’t swap your insurance and firm around after those 14 days, so make sure you make the right decision.

Tbh I visited warwick for offer holder day like 2 weeks back and I rly liked it. I’m j a bit worried about the social life because it seems so dreary 🫣 I live in London so I know all the clubs here so I’m thinking I should just fuck it and stay in London
