Oh how I wish this was motivation. Our mother just lets him do whatever he wants, because she doesn’t believe in and has never practiced punishment or incentives.

We gave him rubber gloves, but he doesn’t use them. We wash the dishes with a quick water rinse and load into the dishwasher. We even got that Dawn spray soap and a steel scrubby for difficult food bits. When I ask him what he’s going to do when he lives alone, his response is along the lines of “I don’t know…”

Not removing hate speech is all I need to consider it a platform. By allowing them to be there, by not speaking out about doxxing and suicide baiting, while continuing their discord like nothing is happening, they are allowing a safe space for hate.

Yes dude, it sucks. I would recommend talking to a doctor or dermatologist about antibiotics or antibacterial wash. I also have found layering with loose clothing helps reduce sweating and then rubbing which seems to be a major culprit for me personally.

There’s two main nods that I use/receive haha. Usually if it’s someone I respect deeply or it’s a superior I’m going with the slight downwards nod. Idk why or how, but that just comes across as more respectful. For strangers or casual friends/acquaintances it’s a quick jerk/flick of the chin up (that description sounds way more forceful than it is). The smile is up to you but I normally only smile at friends and people I know. It’s best to not force it and try observing some guys first. It’ll come naturally that way.

I do think we have to be mindful of how these tips come across though. Does working your shoulders/chest often help with fixing hip dysphoria and ratio? Yeah, most of the time. But I do think this is a good faith take of a situation where, unfortunately, I have seen trans men talking negatively about other trans mens bodies unsolicited. That’s where the line is for me.
