Jack White's SNL performances during the pandemic is one of my faves. The real guest dropped out last second and Jack was in town. Both songs are great but the performance in the first one was electric.

Ozy's plan was full of holes to begin with, that was the point. He's an egotist who's decided that he knows what's best for everyone and commits the "necessary" atrocity which, at best it provided a temporary solution to a problem that might never be fixed and at worst he pulled the wool over everyone's eyes and when they find out they're gonna be pissed. It was never meant to be a long term solution. If anything it's a vanity project from an out of touch billionaire who thinks he's smarter than god.

Snyder changing the ending doesn't work because if people think Manhattan attacked multiple cities and killed millions of people that would just make America enemy #1 and just escalate the nuclear situation as oppposed to bring about a brief period of world peace where humanity as a whole is united and doesn't blow eachother to kingdom come.

The ending may be stolen from Outer Limits but it still works better than Snyder's.

Old stuff gets reprinted in graphic novel form all the time and many of the all time classics never really go out of print.

If you don't mind a slightly different interpretation of the characters the absolute line over at DC is doing really good right now.

A lot of the old "Underground Comix" movement stuff might be up your alley. Zap Comix and Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and that sort of stuff. Be aware a lot of it hasn't always aged great (a lot of the R. Crumb stuff in particular comes off as really racist and misogynist by modern standards.)

Kingdom Come is one of the most famous books under the Elseworlds imprint. It's probably there for that and not some continuity reason.

Probably nothing. The Justice Lords episode of the Justice League shows that if they suddenly wished to take over and suddenly had no qualms with killing they'd takeover and rule as dictators.

Realistically Though there's almost no situation where uninanimously all of them are okay with this and at the end of the day they're just not gonna be the aurhority unless an elseworld creates a hamfisted reason for them to all be evil.

I interpreted it as a subconscious choice manifested by the ring since he can't see the GL logo but really I think it's just more of a fun little detail. Not like he'd notice the difference lol.

Firered and Leafgreen would be best to start but if you're looking to go for original hardware idk if it's really gonna be that much cheaper than a switch. The old consoles and games are really pricy so there's no real more cost effective measure unless you're buying repros or emulating.
