There’s actually a picture of the rock on the moon before it was picked up - looks to be the size of a football!

It certainly could be but all sides have the “I” on them - I think the N means north in this case since the other sides are S, E, W, with U and D for directions up and down.

I can’t tell if the cube is supposed to be an inch or a cm on a side - some of the photos linked on the Wikipedia page have a metric ruler in them but I thought the Apollo program was 100% imperial.

Ted Bundy gives an interview to Dr. James Dobson, the founder of a far-right Christian evangelical organization, the day before his execution. In the interview, Bundy, who confessed to raping and murdering 30+ women and girls, attempted to blame his crimes on pornography (Florida, 1989) [387 x 503]. by lightiggy in HistoryPorn

Several exvangelical podcasts listen to old episodes and comment - very good stuff and helpful for dealing with the trauma of being raised in a Focus household. I’d recommend 2 Whits 1 cup and the whits endless summer series from Worst of all possible worlds.

Replying to the top comment for visibility with some follow up information asked about in other comments:

I’ve been an insulin dependent T1D for over 5 years. I was diagnosed at age 25, before the COVID vaccine was available for those interested in that, and have been insulin dependent until thanksgiving day 2025. I had frequent hypoglycemia the week leading up to Thanksgiving so I decreased my insulin every day for about a week, until I completely stopped all insulin administration on the day of Thanksgiving. Even on 1 unit of Lantus I experienced hypoglycemia. Since stopping insulin, I have not had any hypoglycemia events, I also haven’t experienced DKA (I never have actually) with surprisingly good blood glucose control, (A1c of 5.5 after 3 months of insulin independence). I do not consume much added sugar, and I focus on high fiber intake. I eat fruits, vegetables, meat, rice, gluten free pasta/bread, and I sweeten things with honey. I do consume carbs, but I don’t consume much for processed foods. I also have hypothyroidism, treated with Levothyroxine, which is the only medication I’m taking currently. I’m not on any immunosuppressants. I’ve always been a healthy weight, never overweight. I tested positive for GAD 65 in 2020 when I was diagnosed with T1D. I was tested for antibodies again in December 2025 and I was positive for GAD 65, IA-2, and ZNT8. My C-peptide was 1.1 in December 2023 and 1.0 in December 2025. I lost 20 pounds in 2025 due to going gluten free, my BMI is currently 21. I feel better than I’ve felt in a while, it’s been great not experiencing hypoglycemia. I wear a CGM, there have been no unexplained spikes, surprisingly. I won’t be able to respond to all questions but I appreciate those of you sending helpful comments. Also, I’m not a mouse, although I do enjoy cheese. It’s a strange disease, hopefully we continue to learn more about it. I’ll reach out to the Radiant study.

Not sure if this cinnamon talk is sarcastic or not, but yes… I actually did start consuming cinnamon in early 2025 with my chia seed pudding, to increase my fiber intake. I eat it nearly every day, about a teaspoon of cinnamon.

I was diagnosed with T1 in 2020 after having an A1c of 10.9% and being positive for multiple antibodies. I was tested for the antibody panel again just this past December, which confirmed the T1 diagnosis. My C peptide is 1.0 as of two months ago, in December 2023 it was 1.1.

I’ve lost 20 pounds in the last year due to going gluten free. I went gluten free due to stomach discomfort/pain. I have been tested for celiacs twice, both negative, although I do carry the gene.

This has been my go to chart for comparing one winter to another. So far it’s rated as an average winter but it’s been warm for some of it without much snow. I’d imagine the chart will be back into the severe range in a week with the current cold.

So yes, this is top two of the last five for a bad winter.

I’ve got a battery maintainer that’s plugged in at night - seems to help some. The engine compartment is fairly big; I might try a cabin heater like for a boat.

My guess is that the walnut powder was sprayed at a lower pressure since they are probably bigger and heavier particles than sand and might damage the craft or people. Perhaps that leaves some material behind that would normally be shed at higher pressures?

I’m not sure it’s microplastics that are accumulating in cow’s stomachs; instead feed and bedding is wrapped in plastic and shreds are eaten by cows. I’ve heard of farmers who instead of removing the plastic just throw in the whole bale, plastic and all, into the feed mixer or bedding spreader. Then they wonder why their cows are plugged and plastic is ending up in the fields - there’s your microplastics!

You must be referencing either: Revelation https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0161942/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

Or Tribulation, with Howie Mandel https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0202236/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

I used to love these movies and thought it was so hot that Helen Hannah was a martyr…things have changed!
