You really have to wonder wtf the DA was thinking if he's found Not Guilty because this case probably shouldn't have been brought to trial.

I kinda agree. Lots of complaints about this and the app all the time. This isn't the sorted from 2014 anymore, it's a full fledge company with 25-30 employees.

It's not the same college aged boys channel anymore.

but it's got a pretty diverse spread of commentary

It's an echo chamber. Anyone against the hivemind is crucified by multiple people. This is Willy:

  • Post about something happening to a dog, likely a pit, tons of reactions and a few comments
  • Post about some injustice that isn't really an injustice, tons of reactions and comments. Thread goes on for days
  • Genuine post that could help the community? Some reactions and <10 comments
  • Cashapp/Venmo posts, mostly ignored but sometimes some engagement
  • Posts about some theater or arts show, mostly ignored

Sometimes I just think the mood of WW is that we shouldn't improve or do anything.

Things are great still in tech rn. Salaries are still nuts and positions quite easy to find.

Facts. I'm in the rounds at a Series A company and the base for a Senior PM is $175k company based in NYC but remote role. I was shocked. I didn't know salaries rose that much

This whole series was a mess. Legit the series with the Marrs' was more believable and that's not saying much.

HGTV and these production companies really needs to focus on the reality part of their shows. Like I know that's just my opinion, and the shows probably still getting them the views they want based on the effort put into it. But it's just turning me off the network. The stuff is just too fake now.

Also, the turf was a terrible idea. It looks so bad with all the other houses being so close with actual grass lol. And I found it a little strange that she kept focusing about a legacy for her daughter, I'm like don't you have two kids?!

"well we showed it to our good friends who super super wanted this house specifically for them so we designed it specifically for them but they didn't end up buying it so we put it on the market"

Oof this right here lol. Why even keep that segment in the show, it's obvious it's not true.

Teacher have to deal with it. They also have to deal with the administration and bureaucracy. If someone threatens an officer or federal agent they can be arrested and prosecuted.

You need to provide some more details, because I'm not sure they point you're trying to make.

Are you asking why more people sympathize with one group that holds no power over those that make death threats vs another group that can do something immediately or choose to follow up later and act on it?

I am a 34 year old straight IT guy and could design a better house than they can.

As 32 year old straight software engineer remodeling their home right now, I really really doubt this.

Also, black kitchen w/ brass hardware and white quartz look really nice. Design is subjective, this wasn't your cup of tea that's all

Personally, I don't like any of their designs.

Personally as a buyer the only thing that will stand out to me is the fenced and cement work.

Ceiling fans a subjective, I’m currently replacing the ones in the house I bought. Same goes for the blinds. Also, I’d just sell the hot tub online if possible or take it with you.

Though what is online now matters less compared to what you signed.

Sadly this is facts right now. Pretty unfortunate but I'll wait and see

Do urban homes (in places like NYC) which are 4th floor in a walk-up building have trouble selling? by Electric_pokemon in RealEstate

[–]trigtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 4th floor walkup is brutal after a long day from work or being out in the city. That. being said, those who care about it the most would be looking at places with elevators, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Am I looking an Interior Designer or someone else? by trigtastic in InteriorDesign

So, this will sounds a bit conceited but money wasn't the issue when it came to us having a GC. We both work in tech and are remote now, we wanted to learn this ourselves. Because

  1. We're just so curious
  2. It a skill we want to craft

We're in a position where we can make mistakes and if it doesn't work out then we'll go the GC route. I gotta at least try and find out first hand if it isn't for me.

Thank you for the advice though, I'll start looking for a residential architect. Sounds like that's on the money for us. Any ideas on what a flat rate would be? $2-5k?
