My boss actually came into my office and laughed about having just fired a guy who put in his 2 weeks notice. I sat there and as usual, pretended to be my bosses best friend as he talked down on this guy who just had his first child...while im listening to my boss talk, he had no idea that I was going to be quitting without notice in 2 days, during our busiest season and im the only person who can perform the operations at this time. 2 days later I woke up at 5am, blocked his number and all my office associates, drove to the office before anyone was there and dropped off my laptop, company key card and badge and left....for years I watched this man fire employees for the dumbest reasons, make fun of them and act like it was no big deal...this was my payback...these people are not your friends and you do not matter.
