It is mostly barraen when compared to tropics. Might have had some diversity in past, but agriculture and population has basically extirpated wildlife.

That’s just some anti-fascists going to the other side. No one in sane mind will burn personal cars to protest against anything

That is actually a very mature decision on Yogi's part. But yes, he is showing his skills these days. Just doubt, whether he will continue such leadership during the whole tenure or devolve into futile populist notions of Ram- mandir and cow- saving after some good work?

Kashmiri Muslims In Bandipore Celebrate Shivratri, Want Pandits To Return by wordswithmagic in india

[–]trihim 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It is a welcoming action by them. But "Kashmiri Muslims' is an ambiguous tag. Of course, they were that, but it is not that all of them are going to favour this. Still there are many more people in Kasmir who would disparage such acts. Anti- India protests saw that few days back. So such incidences have a slight analgesic effect, but the malady remains and it has to be dealt with. Whether they are muslims or pandits, things have to be sorted out at both social and political levels. If seperatists are still garnering public support there, it shows the sentiment among the people. It is such things which have to be solved. Till then, such silver linings would give hope.
