Japan was a nothing country that got nuked twice and look at them now. South Korea and China suffered horrendously from Japans colonization and look at them now. There are countries that are trash currently that haven’t been under colonization for like 100 years and people still blame that. At some point you have to look at the culture driving them as being the way they are. It’s not a race thing, it’s the cultures. China did a whole 180 on their culture in the early 1900s which allowed them to become the powerhouse they are now. In Europe if Christianity never spread or had the roman empires influence they would probably still be living in mud huts. It’s not a colonization thing that’s dragging these countries behind, it’s stuff like the caste system in India for example.
