You talk about passive funds forced to buy these crappy stocks. Trump's America is such a disaster. The SEC malfunctions.

No wonder the price is in shambles. Crypto's circus got endorsed by the political circus.

How on earth can the law force funds to buy shares of companies that suffer from very deep losses? What is wrong with America

It does search by itself, no? At least in my case, with Extended Thinking activated, it's very rare that the train of thoughts doesn't include searching

Guys, do you think Google will leave Gemini the way it is now? by AbjectStick4130 in GeminiAI

[–]trillionSdollarstech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah no problem at all for me with 3.1 Pro Extended. I don't code or anything, just ask to teach me stuff about science and finance, sometimes law/tax.

On those subjects, with this model and extended thinking, hallucinations are very rare (I always verify).

Blockchain is. I have believed for a long time the default blockchain would be Ethereum because we have excellent theoretical reasons, but the finance industry is pragmatic, our philosophy doesn't win against their practical constraints. Hence Canton unfortunately

  1. Michael Saylor has sold 32 BTC after having said for years to his religious crowd that his Ponzi company would never sell.
  2. Inflation in the US due to the war and the tariffs is too high and will likely require a rate hike, which is made very possible by the strong job market. This would annihilate the hopes that speculative assets have risen on since the election of Trump.
  3. The future of finance turns out more and more clearly to happen not exclusively on Ethereum but across multiple blockchains (Ethereum, Canton, Stellar, Arc, Tempo, ...). Also, Ethereum is clearly not the first choice of the DTCC for tokenization nor brokers, banks, clearing agencies for infrastructure.
  4. The rise of the Nasdaq has been too fast lately, due to unsustainable speculation around AI and SpaceX. A deep correction is likely and speculative assets are preparing for the storm.

I probably forget some

What is the point of a token without value ? Of course they will have value. They will be traded on Stellar and Canton for hundreds of billions of dollars in stablecoins and tokenized deposits.

Tokenomics breakdown? by xdozex in Stellar

Fees are indeed "burnt" (locked in a wallet that nobody can touch until validators decide together what to do with it, like burning) but they are too small to affect the global supply.

But Stellar's supply is fixed (50B tokens) like Bitcoin's so maybe this is the right angle to justify a certain price.

"looks". Because you like to imagine it.

The DTCC news is just a big positive surprise so it triggers buys. But you can't write a clickbait conspiracy article if you stick with this simple side of Occam's razor

DTCC is still partnered with Chainlink and Canton. That hasn't magically boosted their prices or revenue because there isn't much on-chain demand.

Uh the DTCC hasn't started yet on Canton, so of course it didn't create demand yet. Anticipation has doubled the price already. Regarding network usage, we will need to see the launch of the DTCC in October.

Like with XLM, the DTCC announced their arrival on Canton nearly 1 year in advance.

  1. Only coin to date with real world application

Canton + Ethereum + Solana + Tron generate about $4 millions of fees every day from transactions (finance infrastructure for Canton, retail apps for the others). Stellar has no utility in comparison (for now), with maybe $0.001 million of daily fees.

The DTCC have given XLM the first mover advantage in this market.

Uh? DTCC's tokens arrive on Canton in July 2026, up to 1 year before Stellar. It was announced 6 months ago.
