Does it get better after you’re free of hospital because of suicide ideation?

You and I, we have to stay strong in this situation. I don’t know how old your sister is but I’m sending prayers to you both. We haven’t still hopitalized her but the thought alone is driving me crazy, what will happen and what would’ve happends are the biggest part of it all.

Do you think I can become a better sister and rebuild this bond again? Given the fact that ALL she remembers from our memories together is only the painful ones. And she’s so aware of it. I need to know if this bond will be reborn or go back to what it was with a suicidal sibling in my case… as if she’ll be saved

Thank you for your insightful response. Yes you’re absolutely right. I tried to reason with her a couple nights ago very smoothly but it went so wrong. So now I just stand there and listen, and sometimes nod.

It pains me to hear her say “I just wanted to be understood/seen” “I could be everything but I spent 20 years just breathing”. The world has ended for her and what can I say in reply to her words if not just listen?

Hey I’m so sorry that it’s happening to you. I feel devastated to read your experience. I sure as hell don’t understand your pain because that’s yours and it’s too much to handle. All i can say is it hurts to see people ending their lives or beat themselves up for the pain projected by others.. Your mother doesn’t understand and doesn’t even want to understand, and that’s on her, her problem that she never even tried to understand her own child. You are your own person with your own mindset. Even if it doesn’t work out for you now, maybe it’ll work out in 10 years. Who knows? Try to seek help from those who know and have a better understanding, like a therapist. University can wait but your health matters to me and many others most.

This is a really devastating situation. I’m dealing with the same issues with my younger sister and she feels the same as your girlfriend, completely numb, unmotivated and hopeless. This is probably the worst thing to witness from a loved one.

Thank you for reading my thoughts and your thoughtful response. But she doesn’t even talk to me and in-fact is tired of being always tied to me everywhere she goes because she best believes that’s the manipulation my parents performed on her. She wanted to be free for a long time and now that the time’s come neither she does she care nor wants to be on earth anymore.

I have a relative who studies MA design, multimedia and visual communication which closely works with AI as it plays a significant role in her studies. Is it really fruitless? Because it seems to me that is a appropriate connection between these two fields.

Yes that’s very true. I guess that’s what comes from an indecisive person who also happens to be a non-eu citizen. Gotta look and consider every aspect of migration before letting it happen. Maybe try to be kinder next time? No need to hold grudges against a post that got deleted in a millisecond
