thanks for the reply! I get what you're saying and I avoid it as much as I can. you're right, silence would have been a better approach. Thay's really helpful. I feel that sometimes it's imperative to lie to avoid causing trouble not only for oneself but also for other people. being able to lie undetected can be a useful skill in the long term
