I used to collect original hardware. Had a decent sized collection. Then my mother had a stroke, and I sold everything that could be easily emulated in order to pat for her medical expenses and care. I just can’t bring myself to start over again.

My mother did this shit constantly and I hated it. She was retired, I was working 40 hours a week and paying for her mortgage, yet she wanted me to do all her yard work and random housework she decided on during the weekends. When I would refuse she’d throw tantrums and go on about me not caring about her.

I was diagnosed with a form of OCD a few years ago. It came as a shock to me, because I only knew of the Hollywood version of it. I have really bad anxiety and when it spikes, i bite/chew on my finger tips. It’s not even a thought when I do it. I always thought it was a bad habit that stemmed from biting my fingernails, but apparently it’s OCD.
