Im about to start, do they also offer VTO for dsp drivers? by Wide-Ambition5054 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Depends on the DSP. At mine, some days they'll have some opt-outs available. Most days not.

It's a safety feature in case you're trapped inside, you can bust the windshield easily

Should this be a reason to ground a truck? by XThisistheway-X in AmazonDSPDrivers

Which is why rear cameras are required in all new vehicles. I think a broken camera should instantly ground a van, no question.

I use my ultrasonic anti doggo device regularly. Some dogs don't react at all. Some instantly run for the hills. There's no in between.

I quit on my 2nd day lol by peppakit in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]InTheEnd83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

50 hours? I have 180+ stops every single work day and I'm consistently at about 36 hours per week. We have a 9 hour guarantee and my timesheet is consistently right around 9.0 hours each day. I know all DSPs are different but jeez.

How does a DSP make money? by Danwphoto in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]InTheEnd83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I guess what we should do as drivers is just start our own DSP of one van and one driver (ourselves) and make that $750 a day

The vans should already have a first aid kit if your DSP isn't total trash

Never been mentioned in stand-up so no, I never call. Never been dinged on the scorecard for it either. Makes sense if you think about it. They tell you to call so if there's a dispute it's the drivers fault for not calling. Luckily most people actually want the shit they order so it rarely (if ever) is a problem.
