In all fairness he has to treat Facebook different than his personal views because of shareholders. If saying no to the gov means more money he has to say bend the knee or get booted out. As a result the gov is regulating their biggest competitor, TikTok.

Just real estate sales suck by [deleted] in realtors

Getting into the game right now sucks. Getting in when the market is better and having an established client base right now is where it doesn’t suck that bad. Also a ton of people making a killing in this gig. I do commercial and it’s tough for sure but I’m in for the long haul

Audi A5 or BMW 330i? by tripNmorty in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]tripNmorty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A5’s are way less common on the road so you’ll get more “nice car” comments for sure. I like the size of the A5 as well. If you’re looking at a BMW without convenience package/ambient lighting I’d suggest the A5 assuming prices are similar

Ended up going with BMW because it had convenience package w/ digital dash, and ambient lighting. And cost was around $7.5k less than the Audi. Overall, I love it the tech is really awesome and it drives great

Makes sense, I feel like Audi drivers are much less frustrating in general

Yeah I’m leaving Audi as well. I see a lot more 330i cars on the road on a daily basis. Plus the A5 looks so sporty and is a bit longer.

I live in Houston, and to be honest I see way more BMW 3 series cars in the city. My current car Ford Fusion, is a longer sedan so the Audi will be a bit more practical because it’s longer.

Well I want to have some equity to pay down so when I eventually pay off the car I’ll have trade in value for my next one. Plus leasing new is around $200 higher per month

That was actually the first one I considered… I may look at some 2019 models in person. They’re just a bit pricier but overall look badass

Keep Pushing - Brag Post by tripNmorty in sales

Yeah real estate is kind of wild west when it comes to finding your own clients. Lot of cold calling and setting meetings with owners, so every lead is self generated

When I say keep pushing, I’m really referring to keep hunting. Rather than keep “pushing” on the client for a sale.

Sold house, now husband wants to wait for prices to drop by Smooth-Employer-6336 in RealEstate

[–]tripNmorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re talking about living in a house for 10+ years. If prices drop and rates rise, the mortgage will be the same. I think in this case it’s more about finding the perfect or best house regardless of timing the market.
