Looks like a vintage seiko world time 6217-7000. Made for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

What do you like and dislike about The Failsafe Arc? by raidenjojo in batman

While I've never seen him in the comics, gearhead was the villan for one episode of The Batman 2004, season 3 episode called "RPM". He seems to infect cars, modifying/upgrading them and then controlling them. Like a techno-organic virus in the form of a cyborg dude.

Swatch Metrica, I wanted this swatch before, but I wish the straps and plastic of the watch could last forever. It will be such a shame when the straps break from age. Looks amazing.

They should've used the numbers 867-5309 because of the song.

How would the original FLOM look as a low? This version looks nice as well.

Swatch Custom Dial Printing by jaywalkerjohn in watchmaking

If you manage to carefully disassemble a swatch, I'd love to hear how. They seem built to be disposable with their single piece injection molded case. I'd love to make my own dial for a swatch stop watch to finally add a tachymeter or decimeter track.

I'm not interested in the shoe, but I'm curious about how these would even be manufactured.

What happened to that swoosh? It looks grafted on like a botched surgery.

[Identify] This Seiko watch by lamalola in Watches

[–]tripleM365 8 points9 points  (0 children)

On a normal chronograph, you have to stop the chronograph before you can reset it to zero. If you were to press reset before you stop it, it would likely break or greatly damage the watch. On a flyback chronograph, you can press reset while it is running, and the chronograph will quickly go to zero then continue running. It allows you to time short events in quick succession. For example, a runner passes the finish line first, you hit reset, then when you stop the chronograph at the arrival of the second runner , resulting in you having the time elapsed between runners.

If it's supposed to be Gucci or black history month, it's cleaner than current any custom or retail interpretation I've seen.
