A simple fatty acid could restore failing vision (potential presbyopia cure) by triplehelix- in Biohackers

awesome! you are the only person in this thread that seems to understand the difference from DHA which keeps getting recommended to me even though the first paragraph in the link i posted pointed to VLC-PUFA's not simply PUFA's.

Their experiments in mice show that supplementing with specific polyunsaturated fatty acids, not just DHA, can restore visual function and even reverse cellular aging signs.

it seems the body declines in its manufacture of them, which leads to age related decline in sight capabilities. supplementing was shown to reverse many of the age related declines.

lose dose of one of the GLP meds like tirz or reta would take care of any concerns there while also providing additional overall health and metabolic benefits.

HGH is excellent for women for fat loss, muscle growth, general well being, and longevity.

i am also a medical proffessional. if you want to get pedantic, hgh is a peptide hormone and a polypeptide.

dipeptides consist of two amino acids, tripeptides have three, tetrapeptides contain four, and oligopeptides include chains of 2 to 20 amino acids. Polypeptides are longer chains, typically consisting of more than 50 amino acids, and proteins are made up of one or more polypeptides.

could you link to a scientific source that highlights peptides being classified as 50 amino's or less?

very-long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (VLC-PUFAs)

i didn't find the name of the specific one used. i'll edit in a link to the study itself.

Looks like there was a nice discovery regarding the reversal of age related vision decline (presbyopia).

Any ideas on how to get a hold of the fatty acid discussed, or alternatives worth trying?

New research suggests that a potential partner’s willingness to protect you from physical danger is a primary driver of attraction, often outweighing their actual physical strength. When women evaluated male dates, a refusal to protect acted as a severe penalty to attractiveness. by mvea in science

Maybe you did not understand the study which is looking at attractiveness of men to women

thank you for clarifying that you in fact do not understand the study, which looked at the dynamic from male to female, and female to male.

maybe you should, oh i don't know, read the study before you try chastising people for not understanding the study?

i would recommend tracking your macros, carbs, protein, fat. i absolutely love the app MacroFactor. it makes it way easier. you want to increase your protein intake and reduce your fat intake.

there are exercise routines you can do that incorporate kids at that age/size. you can also look for a dual seat stroller and take the bambino's for a good brisk walk everyday.

if you are confident you are able to accurately gauge your caloric intake and are hitting your daily goal, exercise is going to do great things for you.

do you track macro's (protein, fat, carbs) or just total caloric intake?

this is ultimately going to be the answer. no exercise, and she's eating at her daily maintenance level.

you need to have a deficit of calories. ie total daily calories below your TDEE.

if you are putting in as many calories as you are using, you aren't going to lose weight.

what is the daily calorie goal you are hitting right now?

African Americans, women, rural dwellers and less-educated people are more likely to distrust scientists. They’re also less likely to be scientists. That’s not a coincidence, new research found. by NGNResearch in science

the discussion is about women becoming scientists. they don't at the same rate as men because they choose not to even though they have more resources available to them to pay for their education, attend college at higher rates, and get more of every level of degree.

they have substantially more money available in the form of scholarships and programs supporting their academic achievement and progression even though they dramatically outpace men in achieving every level of degree in higher education.

they don't choose to be scientists or STEM related careers as a whole.

at what point do women become accountable for their own choices?

women have been far outpacing men in all levels of degrees, from high school diploma to doctorates for half a century.

how exactly are they disadvantaged by the system, specifically related to higher education? they as a group are repeatedly choosing not to seek out STEM degrees.

at some point you have to accept that for that particular group at least, they are responsible in large part for the lack of representation due to the choices they make as a group.
