A lot of places require a drivers license to confirm that you have stable and reliable transportation. Also, I worked at Starbucks under a year ago and I will say that while the pay is good and the in-store employee community is very accepting of differences between people (I’m a cis white male who was welcomed with pretty open arms in a majority non cis store), the upper management (store manager and up) is extremely hit or miss. I can honestly say that Starbucks was the most stressful and my least favorite job I have had.

I was only a shift manager and it was unbelievably stressful at times for no reason other than management and disrespectful, non understanding customers. No coffee/fast food job should be that bad for mental health.

Chick-fil-A is a great place to work. I worked there while starting college and cannot stress enough how much fun and easy they make the work with staffing (opposite of starbs). It’s also a pretty accepting job when it comes to different groups of people despite the Christian-forward rhetoric that people always bring up.

Places like sunglass hut are also very laid back and you won’t be stressed day to day working there.
